Nwankwo Kanu's Contract Saga:

Nigeria International football superstar Nwankwo Kanu
has been pleaded with by the pompey supporters to sign a new contract with Portmouth Football Club.

The pompey ace has denied allegations linking him to summer transfer. Kanu Nwanko who scored the only goal in the
FA cup 2008 final at Wembley stadium insists there is "no problem" with his new contract with Portmouth FC and
assure putting down his signature to paper in days to come.

Kanu who has been unhappy with the offer of the 12-month contract at Fratton Park as he beleived he deserved a two-year deal
considering his exploits with the club.

Nonetheless,the Nigerian star has promised that there is no problem with his new deal and has pledge to signing the contract
and retaining his position with the Harry Redknapp team.

"There is no problem with the contract," he emphazied.

"There are just some little details that we need to discuss about.But I will sign the contract.Maybe,I will even sign it in Nigeria."
